Victaulic No. 60 grooved end cap closes the end of a compatible OGS grooved pipe run. This selection uses orange-enamel ductile iron and Victaulic Original Groove System (OGS) connections.

The cap forms a removable end closure when installed with a suitable grooved coupling. Choose the size to match the pipe outside diameter and groove system, and confirm the coupling arrangement before ordering.

Before ordering

When connecting a wafer- or lug-type butterfly valve directly with a Style 741 or 743 flange adapter, check the valve disc clearance against the fitting inside diameter.

Fitting only; select compatible couplings and gaskets separately. Nominal pipe size is not the measured outside diameter. Do not mix OGS parts with a different groove profile or plain-end coupling arrangement.

Do not remove an end cap from a pressurized line. Follow Victaulic I-ENDCAP safety instructions.

Vacuum restriction Do not use No. 60 caps for vacuum service with Style 72 or Style 750 couplings; select the appropriate No. 61 bull plug instead.
Pipe and groove Match nominal size, actual outside diameter and OGS groove dimensions.
Joint components Confirm the coupling, gasket, fluid, temperature and working pressure together.
Layout and clearance Check the fitting dimensions and clearance to adjoining valves or equipment.
Safe service Fully depressurize and drain the line, including isolated branches, before installation or removal. Follow the applicable Victaulic instructions.
