The Peterson M817C-7 Lumen X LED backup light supplies white reverse lighting through a clear lens. This seven-diode model uses the nominal 4-inch round grommet-mount format and a 12 V electrical supply.

The housing incorporates an AMP receptacle angled at 30 degrees and sealed with silicone. Match the lamp to the correct AMP plug and mounting grommet; an otherwise similar PL3 lamp uses a different connection.

A round replacement for the backup circuit

Power supply This model is not multi-volt; do not connect it to a 24 V system.
Installation A single lamp meets DOT backup-light requirements when correctly mounted; confirm the complete vehicle installation.
Space and hardware Check the mounting opening, grommet condition and clearance behind the lamp.
Connection and function Match the AMP connector and backup circuit; do not select this white lamp for red stop/turn/tail service.
