The Muncie A20A1006HX3BBPX power take-off drives a compatible hydraulic pump from an Allison 3000 or 4000 Series transmission. This 10-bolt, clutch-shift configuration combines 12V electric/hydraulic activation with an SAE B pump mount and 7/8-inch, 13-tooth splined connection.
The 06 gear option has a 0.63:1 internal ratio. Nominal PTO output is 85% of engine speed on Allison 3000 Series and 122% on Allison 4000 Series. Match the transmission application and pump speed requirement before selecting this ratio; the same PTO does not produce the same engine-speed percentage on both transmission families.
Adjustable pump positioning for easier installation
The rotatable pump flange offers 30 positions to help place the pump and its connections within the available chassis space. A 360-degree rotatable shift cover gives additional flexibility around nearby components. Tapered roller bearings and the A20 clutch-pack design support repeated operation in vocational truck hydraulic systems.

This is a PTO configuration with the standard hose kit. The hydraulic pump is selected separately. Confirm pump rotation, shaft engagement, operating speed, and load as part of the complete application. Muncie Start controlled engagement and the wet-spline option are separate configurations and are not included in HX/PX.
