The Elkhart Brass 81960001 travel limit sensor kit replaces a position sensor on compatible Sidewinder water cannon monitors. It supports the travel-limit function that stops monitor movement at the end of its operating range.

Use this kit for vertical sensor replacement on the 8494-01 Sidewinder Electric or 8494-RF Sidewinder RF, or for horizontal sensor replacement on the 8494-01 only. Each kit contains one sensor; order a separate kit for each sensor being replaced.

Older configurations Confirm the replacement path for older sensors or modified wiring before ordering.
Installation Disconnect power. Follow instruction 98655000 for sensor orientation, hardware placement, and threadlocker.
Fastener torque Tighten sensor screws gradually and alternately to 6.0 in-lb.
Return to service Keep the travel area clear and verify that movement stops at both limits through repeated cycles.
