The UnitedBuilt BC2399 Adjustable Fan Spray Head is our original adjustable water truck spray nozzle, redesigned for improved durability, consistency, and water flow. Designed specifically for water truck spray systems, the BC2399 combines a heavy-duty die-cast aluminum body with an adjustable band that allows operators to change the spray pattern from a narrower, more concentrated pattern to a wider fan spray.
The new and improved BC2399 is die cast in the USA from A380 aluminum alloy, producing a heavier-duty, more consistent spray head you can see and feel. The redesigned casting retains the proven adjustable-band operation of the original UnitedBuilt design while substantially improving the construction of the spray head for demanding water truck and dust-control applications.
Inside, UnitedBuilt redesigned the water passage with a 2.7" internal flow cavity and a more gradual 90-degree transition. Instead of directing incoming water abruptly toward the roof of the spray head, the revised internal geometry provides a smoother transition toward the adjustable outlet. The new flow path is designed to reduce unnecessary internal water deflection and promote better flow through the spray head.
The adjustable band gives operators control over the discharge pattern to suit changing jobsite conditions. Adjust the nozzle from a narrower spray pattern toward a wider fan pattern depending on the coverage and spray characteristics required for the application.
Originally designed as the spray head for the UnitedBuilt AV1100 air-operated spray valve, the BC2399 uses a standard 3" grooved connection and can also be used with many compatible 3" grooved water truck spray valves and plumbing systems. The grooved connection allows quick installation and removal for service or replacement.
For water trucks operating in construction, mining, roadwork, dust suppression, and other demanding environments, the redesigned BC2399 delivers the versatility of UnitedBuilt's original adjustable spray head in a stronger, more refined design.
