It combines the complete AV1100 diaphragm assembly with a replacement valve spring, making it the preferred rebuild kit when servicing the complete internal operating assembly.
Manufactured in the USA, the AV1100-SKF uses purpose-selected materials designed for reliable operation in demanding water truck spray systems. The flexible urethane diaphragm is retained between high-impact, no-break copolymer polypropylene top and bottom retainers. The assembly also uses a precision-machined black acetal copolymer nut and a machined 6061-T6511 aluminum bolt manufactured from ASTM B211 extrusion.
The included spring is an important part of the AV1100 operating system. It helps hold the valve sealed under static water pressure when control air is depleted, while the diaphragm assembly responds to water and pneumatic pressure during normal valve operation.
Because the AV1100 was designed with serviceable internal components, the AV1100-SKF allows a worn valve to be rebuilt while retaining a serviceable valve body and cap.
