The WIKA 213.53 glycerin filled pressure gauge, part number 9767231, provides a local pressure reading on a 0–200 PSI scale. This configuration combines a 2-1/2-inch dial with a 1/4-inch NPT center back connection. Match the connection location as well as the thread size when replacing an existing gauge.
The glycerin-filled stainless steel case helps damp movement caused by vibration and changing pressure. Copper-alloy wetted parts make fluid compatibility an important selection check: use this model with gases or liquids that do not attack copper alloys and are not highly viscous or prone to crystallizing.
A steadier reading in vibrating equipment
Case filling damps the pressure element and movement, helping you read the dial where vibration or pressure cycling makes an unfilled gauge harder to follow. The mechanical Bourdon-tube design provides a pressure indication without an electrical supply.
| Feature |
Benefit |
| Glycerin-filled case |
Damps movement in applications with vibration and dynamic pressure loads. |
| 2-1/2-inch dial |
Provides a local visual pressure indication in a compact gauge size. |
| Center back connection |
Matches installations that require the process connection behind the dial. |
| Stainless steel case |
Protects the gauge mechanism in an IP65 enclosure. |

Match the gauge to the installation
| Application or component |
Selection guidance |
| Water and hydraulic pressure monitoring |
Confirm the actual fluid is compatible with copper-alloy wetted parts. |
| Replacement mounting position |
Use center back mount; a lower-mount gauge connects below the case, not behind it. |
| Pressure connection |
Match the 1/4-inch NPT port and provide any adapters or isolation components required by your installation. |
| Vibration and pressure cycling |
Check the system pressure peaks and pulsation conditions as well as the normal reading. |
Before ordering
A 200 PSI dial does not mean 200 PSI continuous service. Select the range for the actual operating pattern: steady pressure is limited to three-quarters of full scale, fluctuating pressure to two-thirds, and full-scale pressure to short-duration exposure.
| Check |
What to confirm |
| Working pressure |
Maximum steady pressure: 150 PSI. For fluctuating service, stay at or below two-thirds of the 200 PSI full scale. |
| Temperature |
Keep the process medium at or below 140°F and ambient temperature within −4 to 140°F. |
| Fluid compatibility |
Do not use media that attack copper alloys, crystallize, or are highly viscous. |
| Fit and installation |
Confirm connection location, thread, dial clearance and any required mounting hardware. Have qualified personnel install it with the system depressurized; tighten at the wrench flats, not the case. |
| Safety function |
For pressure indication only, not safety or emergency shutdown devices. Do not use in potentially explosive atmospheres. |
