The UnitedBuilt 6V4000 VisionTank™ R-Kit is a 4,000 gallon drop-on water tank kit built for upfitters, fabricators, fleet shops, and end users who want a more complete tank package for installation on a compatible truck chassis. Unlike a U-Kit, which ships with loose components for fabrication, the R-Kit is designed as a ready-to-install drop-on tank system with more of the pump, plumbing, valve, and hydraulic drive work already completed.
This R-Kit is based on the UnitedBuilt 6V-15 VisionTank™ platform with a 4,000 gallon capacity, 15' tank length, and 6V modified trapezoid VisionTank™ profile. The tank features two curved and fitted 3/16" baffles, curved and fitted 3/16" heads, a full-length reinforced belly plate, and UnitedBuilt’s VisionTank™ design for water truck applications.
The 6V4000 R-Kit includes a UnitedBuilt M3ZRMS cast iron 4x3 mechanical seal water pump with a Muncie PK Series hydraulic motor preinstalled and plumbed on the pump. The hydraulic drive package is configured with a Muncie Power Take-Off (PTO) (Optional), hydraulic gear pump, tank rear deck mounted hydraulic reservoir, and required fittings kit. This setup is designed for customers who want a hydraulic pump drive configuration instead of the standard PTO driveshaft-to-water-pump layout.
R-Kit configurations are manufactured as ready-to-ship tank packages with the exterior already powder coated fleet white with a zinc base layer and the interior already epoxy lined. This gives upfitters and fleet shops a faster path to installation while still delivering UnitedBuilt’s durable VisionTank™ construction, spray system layout, hydraulic drive package, and water truck component support.
