The Buyers Products 1705105 diamond tread aluminum underbody truck tool box provides locking storage for small tools and equipment in an 18 in. H × 18 in. D × 36 in. W enclosure. Its recessed drop door opens downward, giving you access from the side of the truck while the box remains mounted below the body.
The aluminum body and door are 0.100 in. thick, with a diamond tread finish. A locking die-cast compression latch draws the door against the D-bulb seal to help keep weather and road grime away from stored equipment. Choose this size by both the space available on the truck and the size of the tools you need to pass through the door opening.
Weather-resistant storage with serviceable hardware
Corrosion-resistant aluminum and a replaceable gasket help the box withstand outdoor use. The continuous aluminum hinge and door cables support the drop-door arrangement, while the lock provides a way to secure equipment between stops. The box is made in the USA.

Plan the mounting arrangement
This box can be installed on a flat surface or beneath a truck body. An underbody installation requires suitable support brackets and a mounting arrangement matched to the vehicle frame. Additional fabrication may be needed. Have a qualified truck-equipment installer confirm the frame attachment, bracket support and clearances; the box dimensions alone do not establish vehicle fit.
