The Mid-America 269X10 brass compression elbow connects 5/8-inch outside-diameter tubing to a compatible female port through its 1/2-inch male NPT end at a right angle. Also listed as TANKFIT, this brass bar-stock fitting provides the tube-to-pipe transition used when a straight connection will not suit the layout.
Select it by both connection sizes: 5/8 inch is the tubing outside diameter, while 1/2 inch is the nominal pipe-thread size. Match the tube material and compression components to the installation rather than choosing by appearance alone.
| Feature | Benefit |
|---|---|
| 90-degree elbow | Turns the tube connection at the threaded port without adding a separate straight adapter and elbow. |
| Compression tube end | Connects matching tubing without flaring. |
| Male pipe-thread end | Threads into a compatible female NPT connection. |
