The Eaton Crouse-Hinds FD1 Condulet device box provides a deep, single-gang enclosure with a 1/2-inch NPT hub for threaded conduit installations. The Feraloy iron-alloy body accommodates wiring devices or enclosed splices and provides access for service.
Choose the FD configuration when additional device depth is needed compared with a shallow FS box. The cover and any installed electrical device are separate selections; match them to the intended use and installation conditions.
| Feature | Benefit |
|---|---|
| Deep FD configuration | Provides room for deeper devices than the shallow FS configuration. |
| Threaded conduit hub | Accepts a matching 1/2-inch NPT conduit connection. |
| Removable-cover arrangement | Provides access to wiring for maintenance or later changes. |
