The UnitedBuilt S14022MS rope packing set contains six pieces of 1/4 in. square braided Graphite/PTFE packing for the M3ZRM rope-seal arrangement. Made from Palmetto Style 1382 interwoven ePTFE/graphite packing with an inert lubricant. It is the packing component used around the shaft-sleeve area, not a mechanical shaft seal.

Select S14022MS when renewing the rope packing. This set is not the complete pump reseal kit; the split gland, gland bolts and nuts, volute gasket, grease cap and water slinger are separate components.

Renew the packing without confusing seal types

The six-piece set is intended for the rope-packing construction. The gland and its hardware work with the packing but do not become part of this set merely because they are serviced at the same time. Confirm the existing seal arrangement before ordering, especially if the pump model or replacement history is uncertain.
