The Phoenix Forge 303 Series 300 tank flange provides a 1/2-inch female NPT connection for a fabricated tank or cylinder. Its boiler-flange profile combines a forged carbon-steel body with a locating pilot for weld-in installation.

This is a weld-in threaded fitting, not a bolted pipe flange. Select it by the pipe connection and the complete mounting profile. The nominal pipe size does not describe the flange outside diameter or the opening needed to accommodate its pilot.

A piloted connection for tank fabrication

The lower pilot fits into the prepared opening, helping position the fitting before welding. The surrounding flange provides the attachment profile, while the internal thread accepts a matching male NPT component. Check the complete fit before preparing the tank opening or completing the weld.

Dimensions are nominal and subject to manufacturing tolerances. Use the pilot diameter together with the required fabrication clearance; do not treat it as an automatic hole-cutting dimension.

Check What to confirm
Thread match Confirm a 1/2-inch NPT mating connection. NPTF and other special threads are different selections.
Tank opening and clearance Check pilot diameter and height, overall height, outside diameter and surrounding access.
Welding and tank material Have the fabricator verify material compatibility, joint design and the required welding procedure.
Pressure and temperature Confirm the application requirements for the fitting, attachment weld and complete vessel. Series 300 is a design series, not a pressure rating or stainless-steel grade.
Boiler or pressure-vessel use Confirm the required design approvals and material documentation before installation; the flange name alone does not establish suitability for a finished vessel.
