The UnitedBuilt Choice 1503-24-24 is a 45-degree elbow with 1-1/2" male NPTF x 1-1/2" female NPSM swivel.
Use this elbow where the line needs a 45-degree change rather than a straight or right-angle connection. The female swivel nut turns during installation without requiring the attached hose to turn with it. Plan the elbow orientation and hose routing together, leaving room to reach the wrenching surfaces and support the hose without twisting it.
Create a 45-degree change in the hose connection
The male NPTF connection and female NPSM swivel are not two tapered pipe ends. The swivel uses a 30-degree seat, so the mating male fitting must have the correct internal seating surface as well as matching threads. The 45-degree shape provides a routing option; it does not by itself establish a flow or pressure-drop advantage.

Before ordering
Do not substitute a plain tapered female pipe elbow for the NPSM swivel connection. Likewise, do not assume that every male pipe nipple has the required swivel seat. Keep the seating surfaces clean and undamaged; pipe-thread sealant cannot repair a damaged cone or replace the correct mating geometry.
