Questions about this product?

Mid-America Brass Reducing Bushing 110-124 adapts a 3/4-inch female pipe port to accept a 1/4-inch male pipe connection. It has 3/4" Male NPTF x 1/4" Female NPTF connections and a brass body.

The male outside thread fits the larger port while the female inside thread receives the smaller connection. Its hex head gives you a wrenching surface for installation.

A direct pipe-size transition

Select this fitting by its connection arrangement, not just its part number. Matching the male and female ends to the adjoining components helps avoid unnecessary adapters and incorrect thread combinations.

Feature Benefit
Reducing configuration Connect a smaller male pipe fitting to a larger female port.
Male x female connections Make the size transition with a single bushing.
Hex head Provides a wrenching surface during installation.

Before ordering

Check both sides of the connection and the space around it before ordering. For a replacement, compare the existing fitting and mating ports rather than relying on the appearance of a similar brass part.

Check What to confirm
Mating connections Confirm the mating thread sizes and genders match 3/4" male NPTF and 1/4" female NPTF.
Thread identification Nominal pipe size is not the measured outside diameter. Check thread form as well as size; do not select by diameter alone.
Service conditions Confirm the fitting and mating components are suitable for your fluid, working pressure and temperature.
Installation Check engagement, wrench access and clearance; follow the applicable assembly and sealing instructions.
Special applications Verify any required potable-water, gas or air-brake approvals before selecting this fitting for those services.
