The Elkhart Brass SM-10FE Electric Master Stream Nozzle is a compact, automatic nozzle designed for applications where available water flow can vary. With a flow range of 20–120 GPM, a 1-1/2" female NHT inlet, and 24-volt electric stream-pattern control, it is an excellent choice for water truck water cannons, dust suppression, equipment washdown, de-icing, and other remote water-delivery applications.
Unlike a fixed-gallonage nozzle, the SM-10FE automatically adjusts to the available water supply to help maintain effective stream velocity and reach across its operating range. This makes the nozzle particularly useful on water trucks where pump output can change with engine speed, plumbing configuration, or other system demands.
The electrically actuated nozzle allows the operator to remotely adjust the discharge pattern from a concentrated straight stream through narrow fog to wide fog. Spinning teeth produce an effective fog pattern, while the electric drive eliminates the need to manually adjust the nozzle at the water cannon.
Built from lightweight, hard-coated aluminum for demanding mobile and industrial service, the SM-10FE also includes a manual override for continued stream-pattern adjustment if electrical control is unavailable. Elkhart part number 03817401 is the 24V DC configuration with SAE electrical connection.
