The Elkhart BrushHawk™ 8495 water cannon monitor is a compact remote-operated monitor designed for applications where space is limited and precise water stream control is required. This Elkhart 08495002 configuration features a 2" FNPT inlet, 1-1/2" MNHT outlet, and 12/24 VDC compatible operation.
The BrushHawk 8495 uses CANbus communication and is designed to work with the compatible Elkhart proportional joystick controller. When paired with the proper joystick and harness, the operator can control monitor movement up/down and left/right, along with compatible nozzle fog/stream adjustment. When equipped with the optional valve kit, the system can also support on/off and trigger control from the joystick.
With a compact swing radius and low stow height, the BrushHawk is a strong fit for tight mounting areas on brush trucks, quick-attack vehicles, water trucks, service bodies, and other equipment where a full-size monitor may not be practical. For water truck applications, it can be used as a premium remote water cannon option for dust control, jobsite watering, road work, and controlled water placement.
The BrushHawk 8495 platform is rated for up to 500 GPM and 200 PSI. This 2" FNPT inlet model provides a larger inlet connection than the 1.5" FNPT version while retaining the same compact 1-1/2" MNHT outlet configuration for compatible Elkhart monitor nozzles.
