Description

For the specified license-plate lighting arrangement, use two lamps mounted 6 inches apart and 2–3 inches above the plate.

The Peterson M435 incandescent license light provides white illumination through a clear lens. Its chrome-plated steel housing and mounting bracket suit a surface-mounted license-light installation on a 12 V circuit.

The lamp mounts on 2-inch centers and grounds through its mounting screws. Check the grounding path as well as the power connection when replacing an existing lamp; the mounting hardware performs an electrical function, not just a mechanical one.
