Dixon ST King combination nipples connect a hose to a matching female NPT pipe connection. These unplated-steel fittings are intended for low-pressure suction or discharge of compatible liquids.
Choose the nominal size and exact MPN from the table below. The smaller listed models have a knurled wrench grip; the 2-1/2, 3 and 4-inch models do not. Order the hose and suitable clamping or crimp components separately to complete the assembly.
| Feature | Benefit |
|---|---|
| Male NPT end | Connects directly to a matching female NPT port. |
| Hose shank | Accepts a properly matched hose with a suitable securing system. |
| Model-specific wrench grip | Knurled grip is available on the listed ST1, ST10, ST20 and ST25 models. |

Match the hose construction and attachment method as carefully as the pipe thread. The nipple alone does not establish the working pressure of the complete hose assembly.
| Check | What to confirm |
|---|---|
| Pipe connection | Match the female NPT thread and nominal size; do not substitute another thread standard. |
| Hose attachment | Confirm hose dimensions and select a suitable clamp or crimp arrangement; crimp sleeves are available separately. |
| Service conditions | Confirm liquid compatibility, pressure and temperature with Dixon for the complete assembly. |
| Restrictions | Not recommended for steam. The listed 1-1/2-inch and larger sizes are not for compressible products such as air or nitrogen. |
| Assembly testing | Follow the applicable test procedure. Dixon references testing oil suction/discharge hose at 1.5 times working pressure for 15 minutes without leakage or coupling movement. |
| California warning | Contains lead, a chemical associated with cancer and reproductive harm under California Proposition 65. |
