The Coxreels 426 brass swivel is a replacement inlet swivel for the standard SHF-N-525 fuel hose reel. Its 90-degree, full-flow fluid path connects the supply side to the rotating reel, allowing the drum to turn while the inlet hose remains connected.
Choose manufacturer part number 426 when replacing the standard brass, nitrile-sealed swivel. This is one assembled swivel; the complete reel, working hose, and separate inlet elbow are not included.
Replacing the complete swivel provides the body and rotating connection together. Match the original part number and reel configuration before ordering, particularly if the reel has been fitted with an optional seal material or fluid-path configuration.
| Feature | Benefit |
|---|---|
| 90-degree fluid path | Connects the inlet hose at a right angle to the reel connection. |
| Full-flow design | Maintains the standard swivel flow-path arrangement. |
| Complete swivel assembly | Replaces the swivel as a unit rather than ordering a seal-repair kit. |

|---|---|
| Existing configuration | Match the reel model, serial number, and existing swivel; optional configurations require separate verification. |
| Fluid and temperature | Confirm the application is compatible with brass and nitrile seals. |
| Operating pressure | The standard SHF-N-525 reel is rated to 300 PSI. Stay within the lowest rating of the installed system. |
| Inlet connection | Use a flexible inlet hose. Rigid piping or side loading can damage the swivel. |
| Installation and service | Isolate the supply and release line pressure before service. Avoid overtightening and check for leaks before use. |
| Fuel service | Have qualified personnel install the part and maintain proper grounding of the reel, hose, and equipment around flammable fluids. |
