The UnitedBuilt 6V4700 VisionTank™ On/Off-Road Water Truck combines a UnitedBuilt 4,700-gallon steel tank with a 2027 Peterbilt 548 tandem-axle chassis rated at 66,000 pounds GVWR. Powered by a 330-horsepower PACCAR PX-9 engine and Allison 3500-RDS automatic transmission, this truck is configured for construction dust control, road maintenance, compaction support and high-volume jobsite water delivery.
The UnitedBuilt modified-trapezoid VisionTank™ profile improves rearward visibility while retaining the capacity required for demanding applications. The tank features 3/16-inch ASTM A36 steel construction, curved and fully welded baffles and heads, a full-length belly plate with full-penetration welds, heavy-duty cradle runners and a six-point mounting system.
Water is delivered by a UnitedBuilt M3ZRMS 4x3 centrifugal pump rated at 750 GPM. A Muncie A20A1010HX31XPX clutch-shift PTO drives the pump through a balanced driveline. The PTO operates at 131% of engine speed with the Allison 3500-RDS and supports pump-and-roll operation so the spray system can operate while the truck is moving.
This configuration includes six independently controlled front, side and rear spray valves with Schedule 40 stainless-steel plumbing. The system is prepared for the later installation of an optional Nitro HD cannon, Coxreels hose reel and suction-fill package, giving the buyer flexibility to purchase the truck in its current configuration or add those capabilities without additional fabrication or paint.
