The UnitedBuilt 6V4000 VisionTank™ Water Truck on a 2027 Kenworth T480 chassis is built for contractors, municipalities, mining operations, and fleet owners who need dependable water delivery without unnecessary downtime. When a water truck is down, the job slows down with it — this truck is designed to keep water moving with durable tank construction, reliable spray system components, and support from a team that specializes in water trucks.
This 4,000 gallon water truck features a UnitedBuilt 6V4000 VisionTank™, six independent air-operated cab-controlled spray heads, a UnitedBuilt M3ZRMS cast iron 4x3 centrifugal pump with mechanical seal, a Muncie hot shift PTO, and a balanced 1310 Series PTO shaft. The six-sided VisionTank™ design uses a modified trapezoid profile that helps keep the tank profile lower than a traditional round-style tank and improves rearward visibility from the side profile.
The tank is built from 3/16" ASTM A36 sheet steel with fitted and fully welded baffles, 3/16" heads, and a full-length belly plate reinforcement to help reduce premature cracking and deterioration. The exterior is powder coated white to match the cab with a zinc base layer for enhanced corrosion resistance.
The 2027 Kenworth T480 chassis brings serious vocational capability with a PACCAR PX-9 300 HP diesel engine, Allison 3500-RDS automatic transmission, 20,000 lb front axle, 40,000 lb rear axle, Hendrickson Haulmaax EX suspension, full rear tandem cross lockers, and 60,000 lb GVWR. It is configured for dust control, construction water delivery, road work, mining support, compaction, jobsite watering, and fleet service.
