The UnitedBuilt 6V4000 VisionTank™ U-Kit is an unassembled 4,000 gallon water truck tank kit built for upfitters, fabricators, fleet shops, and end users who want a UnitedBuilt water tank system for installation on a compatible truck chassis. The U-Kit ships with the tank, pump, plumbing, couplings, spray valves, controls, and related water truck components packed loose for fabrication and installation by the installer.
This kit is based on the UnitedBuilt 6V-15 VisionTank™ platform with a 4,000 gallon capacity, 15' tank length, and 6V modified trapezoid VisionTank™ profile. The tank features two curved and fitted 3/16" baffles, curved and fitted 3/16" heads, a full-length reinforced belly plate, and UnitedBuilt’s VisionTank™ design for water truck applications.
The 6V4000 U-Kit is a strong option for chassis conversions, water truck upfits, tank replacements, and fleet rebuilds. The kit includes a UnitedBuilt M3ZRMS cast iron 4x3 mechanical seal water pump, AV1100 spray valves, BC2399 adjustable fan spray nozzles, BC2179 side nozzles, Schedule 40 black pipe with grooved couplings and fittings, and a cab-mounted control console for independent spray valve operation.
UnitedBuilt stocks tank bodies in bare steel to give customers more flexibility and faster turnaround. Customers can choose the finish that best fits their build, including sandblast and primer, fleet white powder coat with zinc base coat, custom paint or powder coat color, and optional interior epoxy lining. This approach gives upfitters and fleet shops more control over the final finish while supporting a typical turnaround of approximately 30 days ARO.
The standard drive configuration uses a Muncie Power Take-Off (PTO) with a PTO driveshaft to the water pump. Depending on the transmission model, the PTO may be configured as a hot shift or air shift setup. For customers who prefer a hydraulic drive package, an optional direct-mount Muncie hydraulic gear pump and motor configuration is available with a truck frame-mounted hydraulic reservoir and required fittings kit.

Components ship packed / loose for installation, and final installation requirements depend on the chassis, frame layout, wheelbase, transmission, PTO configuration, pump rotation, plumbing layout, finish selection, and selected options.
