Arrangement 1 positions the output on the right side with the shaft low.
The keyed output supports compatible remote pump drives and driveline arrangements. For water trucks and other vocational equipment, selection depends on the complete transmission model, mounting clearance, required pump speed and operating load. The internal ratio alone does not determine output speed relative to the engine.
Clutch-shift control for auxiliary equipment
The internal wet clutch allows engagement and disengagement without stopping the transmission PTO drive gear, avoiding the need to slide gears into mesh during engagement. Electrical control operates through the vehicle’s compressed-air system, so this configuration requires both 12V electrical power and an appropriate air supply.
