The Muncie CS8SU6807A1BX is a CS8 Series clutch-shift power take-off (PTO) with an SAE 8-bolt standard mount, manual air shift, 0.70:1 speed ratio, and 1-1/4" round keyed output shaft. This configuration uses the U68 universal transmission input gear and assembly arrangement 1, placing the output on the right side, shaft low.

The CS8 Series is built for heavy-duty vocational applications and incorporates Muncie’s standard drag brake to help prevent unwanted shaft rotation when the PTO is disengaged. The 07 ratio configuration is rated at 57 HP at 1,000 PTO RPM, with 300 lb-ft intermittent torque and 210 lb-ft continuous torque.

This keyed-shaft configuration is well suited to remote-driven pumps and auxiliary equipment on water trucks, dump trucks, service trucks, and other vocational equipment. Final transmission compatibility should be confirmed by transmission model and PTO opening before installation.
