The Berkeley S09943 balance ring gasket is a replacement gasket for the balance-ring joint in selected Berkeley centrifugal pumps. Its dimensions are 6-1/4 in. inside diameter x 7-7/8 in. outside diameter.

On the B4JRMBHS B69743 configuration below, S09943 is the gasket at item 73B, used with balance ring S13591. It is separate from the larger volute gasket and from the balance ring itself, making the exact joint important when selecting repair parts.

Service the balance-ring joint

Use this gasket when the repair calls for the balance-ring sealing interface, not the volute-case interface. Confirming the joint before ordering helps avoid confusing two gaskets used within the same pump. The replacement gasket does not replace a damaged balance ring or its adjoining components.
