The Coxreels 8176-1 gear guard covers the exposed bevel-gear or chain-and-sprocket area on compatible 1185 Series reels with a 24-inch disc. It helps keep dirt and foreign material away from the drive and reduces access to its moving parts.

Select the guard by reel series and disc size. The 8176-2 is the separate 28-inch-disc version; a similar-looking cover from another series is not a confirmed substitute.
