The Elkhart Brass 24196000 CAN network Y-splitter provides a branch connection for compatible Elkhart EXM2 and APEX control networks. Use it where the system wiring arrangement calls for an additional CAN connection between the network ends.

This splitter is not the 24197000 CAN termination plug. Extension harnesses, termination components, controllers and actuators are separate selections. Match the connection arrangement before ordering rather than treating every three-pin accessory as interchangeable.

Network Match the controller, monitor or actuator and its wiring diagram.
Termination An EXM2 CAN network requires two end termination points; the splitter does not replace the required termination plug.
Branches For the EXM2 arrangement, keep the branch from the main CAN line to a component no longer than 3 feet.
