The UnitedBuilt Choice 4000-10 is a -10 SAE O-ring boss replacement seal.
Use this replacement O-ring when servicing the corresponding SAE O-ring boss connection and the existing fitting and port remain serviceable. Select the ring by the required ORB connection family and the equipment’s seal specification. A dash number is not the measured inside diameter of the O-ring.
Replace the seal in a matching ORB connection
Replacing the separate seal allows an ORB connection to be reassembled with a fresh O-ring when the application calls for seal replacement. The seal must match both the groove or port arrangement and the operating conditions. An O-ring with a similar appearance or color is not enough to establish the correct dimensions, compound or hardness.

Before ordering
Fully isolate and depressurize the circuit before opening the connection. Inspect the sealing surfaces for scratches, debris or damage that a new O-ring cannot correct. Use only an assembly lubricant approved for the seal and fluid, and avoid twisting, cutting or trapping the ring while positioning the fitting.
