The LDI Industries LSP151-04-01 sight plug provides a viewing window at a compatible low-pressure reservoir port. It combines a brass body, clear soda-lime glass sight and Buna-N seals with a 1/2-14 male PTF dryseal taper pipe connection.

This is the reflector configuration; a float ball is not included. Select it by the complete part number, port thread and operating conditions. It is a fluid-viewing component, not a spray head, nozzle or high-pressure fused sight plug.

Check fluid through the reservoir port

The clear window allows visual checks without removing the plug. The stainless steel reflector sits behind the sight glass; choose this configuration when a reflector is required rather than the open-view or reflector-and-ball versions.

Before ordering

The pressure value is specified at 69°F; do not assume it applies at the maximum temperature. Confirm the allowable pressure at your actual fluid temperature and the compatibility of the fluid with brass, glass and Buna-N before installation.

Port and clearance Match the 1/2-14 male PTF connection and allow space for the hex and viewing window.
Included configuration LSP151-04-01 includes a reflector, not a float ball. Do not substitute the LSP151-05-01 size.
Operating conditions Use within the applicable pressure and temperature limits. Steam service is not recommended.
Installation and condition Do not install with an impact wrench. Scratches in the glass reduce its pressure capability; do not use a damaged sight plug.
