The UnitedBuilt Choice 1501-24-24 is a 90-degree elbow with 1-1/2" male NPTF x 1-1/2" female NPSM swivel.
Use this elbow when a matching pipe port and hose connection need a right-angle change in direction. Its female swivel nut turns during assembly so the attached hose can remain in the selected position. Check the elbow body, wrench access and hose bend radius together before ordering; the angle alone does not establish clearance for your installation.
Turn the connection without twisting the hose
The two ends use different sealing arrangements. The male NPTF end connects to a compatible female tapered pipe port, while the female NPSM end seals at its 30-degree seat against a properly seated male fitting. This distinction matters when replacing an elbow that looks similar: thread engagement by itself does not make the swivel connection suitable.

Before ordering
Do not use thread tape as the sealing mechanism at the NPSM seat. An ordinary male pipe nipple may lack the required internal seat even if its threads engage. If the hose must rotate or move at the joint during operation, select a separate swivel specifically rated for that service.
