This street elbow makes a 45-degree change between compatible pipe connections. The male end threads directly into a matching female port or fitting, and the female end receives a matching male connection. This end arrangement is different from a female-to-female elbow, so check thread gender as well as size when ordering.
Change direction directly at a pipe port
The angled body provides a defined change in direction where the line cannot continue straight. A male-to-female layout can connect directly at the port without a separate nipple on that side. Confirm the intended orientation, nearby component clearance and access to both connections before beginning assembly.
