The Gates 16G-16FJX MegaCrimp coupling joins 1-inch hydraulic hose to a -16 female JIC 37-degree flare connection with 1-5/16-12 threads. Its straight configuration must match the required hose routing and mating connection.
This preassembled crimp coupling brings the stem and ferrule together as one part. Select it for a new hydraulic hose assembly or a replacement assembly when the hose series, end connection and routing have been confirmed. It is not a reusable field-attachable fitting.
Build the correct hose connection
The straight layout suits an in-line hose approach; confirm hose bend radius and clearance. The MegaCrimp C insert distributes crimping force around the hose. Correct hose selection, insertion and crimping remain essential to the finished assembly.
