The UnitedBuilt Choice 5404-12-12 is a straight hex nipple with 3/4" male NPTF x 3/4" male NPTF.
Use this hex nipple to join two compatible female pipe connections in a straight run. Both ends are male NPTF, so it can connect matching female fittings or ports without introducing a change in direction. Confirm the size at each connection and the space between the components before selecting a replacement.
Join two female pipe connections
The central hex gives you a wrenching surface for assembly and removal. It also helps distinguish a hex nipple from a length of threaded pipe when planning tool access. The nominal pipe size describes the connection family, not the measured outside diameter of the male thread, and does not establish the nipple’s overall length.

Before ordering
Do not assume a suitable internal seat is present simply because a female NPSM swivel will screw onto the nipple. For ordinary tapered pipe connections, follow the supplier’s installation instructions and keep debris or excess sealant out of the circuit. Do not loosen a tightened tapered joint merely to obtain final alignment.
