The Muncie F22F1312DS51XPB clutch-shift power take-off supplies mechanical power for remote-driven auxiliary equipment on compatible 2024 and newer Ford F-650 and F-750 diesel trucks. This configuration combines Muncie Start® engagement control with a 1-1/4" round keyed output shaft and dual stationary/mobile operation.
For a water pump or other driveline-driven load, selecting the correct PTO involves more than matching the truck model. Confirm the transmission, factory PTO equipment, shaft connection, operating speed, and required duty cycle so the PTO and driven equipment work together.
Smoother engagement for driveline-driven equipment
Muncie Start electronically modulates clutch engagement to reduce startup torque spikes through the PTO and connected drivetrain. This is particularly useful when starting high-inertia loads, where abrupt engagement places additional stress on mechanical components.
The F22 also uses spring-loaded rattle-abatement technology to help reduce gear noise. Its 1X output provides a round keyed shaft for a remote-drive connection; select the matching driveline or coupling for the equipment being powered.

Match the PTO to your equipment
The internal 1.18:1 gear ratio and the application’s 130% engine-speed figure describe different relationships. Use the application-specific PTO speed when checking the driven equipment’s RPM requirements.
The listed torque and horsepower ratings apply to intermittent stationary service. Dual-mode capability does not establish the same allowable load for mobile operation. Confirm mobile and continuous-duty requirements for the intended installation.

Includes the Muncie three-position stationary/mobile rocker switch, separate indicator light, dash mounting hardware, and dual-mode control module and harnesses. Use the supplied Muncie switch; Ford auxiliary switches are not compatible with dual-mode operation. Program stationary and mobile settings separately, and confirm a suitable mobile RPM limit during installation.
Confirm driveline and coupling requirements for your truck before ordering. Installation requires the transmission’s PTO drive gear to be present and must follow Muncie’s mounting, wiring, and operating instructions.
